1. Data controller

2. Personal data we process
- Data you provide: full name, email address, telephone number, the subject and content of your message, and any other personal data you voluntarily include in a communication.
- Browsing data: IP addresses, device or browser identifiers, request times, pages visited, and technical data required to operate and secure the website, automatically collected by IT systems and server logs.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and preparing quotations: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Managing contracts and administrative, tax or legal duties: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
- Operating and securing the website and preventing abuse: the controller’s legitimate interest in protecting its website and systems (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Data collected through the contact form is not used for marketing without a specific and separate lawful basis.
4. Whether providing data is required
Fields marked as required must be completed so that we can handle your enquiry. If you do not provide them, the form cannot be submitted. All other information is optional.
5. How we process data and recipients
We process data electronically and, where necessary, on paper, using appropriate measures to protect it from unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or alteration.
Data may be accessed by authorised personnel and suppliers supporting hosting, IT maintenance, email or professional services, appointed as processors where required. It may also be disclosed to authorities or other parties where required by law. It is not made public.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
If a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will comply with Chapter V of the GDPR and rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention
Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting relationship; they may then be retained within applicable limitation periods. Data required for accounting or tax obligations is kept for the periods prescribed by law. Technical logs are kept for as long as needed for security and service management, unless they are needed to investigate unlawful activity or comply with an authority’s request.
8. Your rights
Where Articles 15–22 GDPR apply, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may also withdraw any consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Send requests to info@cantorairtech.it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or the supervisory authority in your EU Member State.
9. Automated decision-making
The data described in this policy is not subject to solely automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
